Als je iets wil zeggen over een mogelijke situatie en de gevolgen daarvan, dan gebruik je een zogenaamde conditional.

Een conditional bestaat uit een hoofdzin en een bijzin. De bijzin begint meestal met 'if', maar kan ook beginnen met: unless, suppose, supposing of provided (that).
