1) Future tense (present simple; will; going to; present continuous; shall we/I ..?

(Our train arrives at/School opens at; I think/suppose we will../Tomorrow it will rain/The elections will take place in November 2024; Look! He is going to fall!; We are going to ask him out; We are leaving on Sunday; Shall we grab some coffee?)


2) Past Continuous/Past Simple 
(I was running the marathon when he passed out.; I got up, checked my alarm clock and realized I was late!)

3) Some/any/compound (anything/someone etc.)

Form groups of 4

  1. Go to bbc newsround (www.bbc.co.uk/newsround)
  2. Find 2 articles to read
  3. Summarize in key words
  4. Write down 5 new words you've learned per article (so 10 in total)
  5. Write down 10 examples of tenses you came across (present simple/continuous; past simple/continuous; past perfect; future)
  6. Write down 5 examples of the passive voice
  7. Present your summary/new words/examples of tenses + examples of passive voice to class in approx. 5 min. per group (end of class/start of next class)
