Unit 4: Possessive pronouns

Goal: At the end of the lesson you will all under-

stand what a pronoun is and how to use it!

What does possess mean? I possess something...

Betrekkelijke voornaamwoorden

De docent, DIE altijd naar koffie ruikt, is ziek vandaag (komma)

De auto van Vergeer, DIE nieuw is, heeft nu al reparaties nodig. (komma)

De jongen DIE te laat kwam moest een briefje halen

Het gebouw DAT instortte wordt volgend jaar opnieuw gebouwd. 

Je ziet dus dat betrekkelijke voornaamwoorden vooral DIE of DAT zijn. 

 

And now in English: who, which en that

betekenis: die of dat

The teacher, who always smells like coffee, is ill.

Miss V's car, which is new, already needs repairing.

The boy who/that was late had to get a late-note.

The building which/that collapsed will be rebuild.

Zinnen zonder komma kunnen naast who/which ook THAT krijgen. 

Zinnen met een komma, krijgen maar 1 antwoord. 

Two more...   whom en      whose 

Betekenis:         wie    en       wiens

Aan wie/met wie, voor wie

To whom did you give your phone?

With Whom are you buying your promdress?

For whom are you buying this present?

Present perfect saay whaat?

1. Wanneer het resultaat belangrijk is

(she has written five letters today)

2. Als iets in het verleden begonnen is en nog niet is afgelopen/resultaat nog zichtbaar is. 

(I have lived in Utrecht for two years now/She has broken her leg)

3. Als iets nog nooit is gebeurd

(We have never been to Australia)

Hoe maak ik de present perfect?

Kies eerst bij elk persoon:

Has: she, he it.                 SHIT= begint met letter S, dus de ww krijgen ook een S op het eind. 

Have: I, you, we, they

+ voltooid deelwoord: +ED achter het werkwoord of 3e rijtje

She has seen/we have lost/I have been

J: just                                                    altijd over de present perfect.

Past Simple (verleden tijd

Als iets volledig is afgelopen en dus in het verleden is gebeurd. 

Signaalwoorden: yesterday, last week, a year ago, 2012, then.

+: She went to the cinema last night

- She didn't GO (hele ww) to the cinema last night

? Did she GO to the cinema last night?

Practise in Showbie

In showbie is op 6 februari een map aangemaakt met opdrachten over de Past simple en de Present perfect. Ik heb deze opdracht opnieuw in een PTA4 Engels map gezet. In deze map staat ook andere opdrachten, linkjes en uitleg en een proeftoets. 

Ook staat er een linkje van meestergijs. 

Deze link bevat een grammatica uitleg van A3 die een grammatica PO kregen. Ze bespreken hier ook de present perfect en past simple en op het eind de present simple. De andere tijd (present continuous en past perfect mag je overslaan). Je kan het filmpje pauzeren en de opdrachten maken en controleren die ze hebben gemaakt.
