Adverb (bijwoord)

* Een adverb kan iets zeggen over een werkwoord 

-> He laughs loudly.
* Een adverb kan iets zeggen over een bijvoegelijk naamwoord 

-> She has a remarkably loud voice

* Een adverb kan iets zeggen over een ander bijwoord

 -> He laughs very loudly

* Een adverb kan iets zeggen over de hele zin

-> Frankly, I don't really care. 

LET OP! Een adverb wordt heel vaak geschreven met  -LY  erachter.

Adjective (bijvoegelijk naamwoord)

Adjective = bijvoeglijke naamwoord en zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord

Example: The green house.

                   She is a nice girl
