5.5 Relative Clauses

Use your workbook and the internet to gather information 

about relative clauses both defining and non-defining.

5.7 Writing

Goal: you can write a simple argumentative essay with 'for' and 'against' arguments.

Discuss these questions:

What could a 4-5 paragraph essay look like? What's the structure?

Let's put this essay in the correct order.

1. Introduction - general comments/facts + thesis statement (mention both sides of the issue)
2. FOR para - 2-3 arguments + examples
3. AGAINST para - ^^^
4. Conclusion = summarise + add your personal opinion.
