* In groups of 3/4: 

* Make a "do & don't" list for speech giving. Think about:

- How you should (and should not) give a speech 

- What you should (and should not) include in your speech

- Extra tips and tricks you can think of for a successful speech! 

* Pick one person to feedback to the group (type!) 

The do & don'ts - one person from each group give the answers.

Tips!

• Practice, practice, practice! 

• Make eye contact with the audience.

• Speak slowly and calmly.

• KISS - keep it short and simple! 

Really long sentences will probably leave you flustered and your audience losing interest - keep it snappy!
