Practice and preparation

• Practice listening by watching BBC, CNN or any other English speaking news source, Netflix, music, etc.
• The more you listen to the English language the easier a listening exercise will get ("kilometers maken").
• Make sure you are well-rested before your test. So go to bed early the day before!

Making listening tests

1. Read the question and answers first.
2. Mark or write down important words. (paper & pen!)
3. Draw a mind map/synonyms/anything you already know about the subject.
4. Listen carefully. (It helps to close your eyes)
5. When in doubt, find the difference between answers and listen again.

A Good Night's Sleep

Can you sleep well with the television on?

1. Yes, because of the noise.
