Present perfect (volt. tegenwoordige tijd)
De present perfect gebruik je wanneer je wilt vertellen dat een gebeurtenis, ervaring of resultaat ooit is begonnen, en nu nog steeds zo is, of te merken is.
Denk bijvoorbeeld aan:
Je hebt een telefoon gekocht vorig jaar, en die telefoon heb je nog steeds.

Vorm present perfect
De present perfect kun je op twee manieren maken:
have/has + werkwoord + ed
have/has + past participle (3e onr. werkwoorden)

I have worked for five hours.

De present perfect en past simple worden vaak in één zin gebruikt. Let hierbij op dat:
De past simple afgelopen is (helemaal klaar)
De present perfect doorgaat/niet is afgelopen
Past simple
Past simple is verleden tijd. Twee vormen:
Werkwoord + ed
2e Rij onregelmatige werkwoorden
Te herkennen aan woorden zoals: last ..., yesterday, 3 years ago, etc.
