PRESENT SIMPLE

Voorbeelden:

Vraagzinnen: Do/does + onderwerp + hele werkwoord

PRESENT SIMPLE

Ontkenningszinnen: Onderwerp + do / does not + hele werkwoord

• I feel good. - I do not / don't feel good.
  
• He looks happy. - He does not / doesn't look happy.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

We gebruiken de present continuous als we willen zeggen dat iets bezig is of aan de gang is op het moment dat we erover praten of schrijven.

Zinnen: Onderwerp + to be (am / are / is) + werkwoord (ww) + ing

• I am having lunch.
  
• Carl is watching television.
  
• Jake is driving around in his car.
  
• She is talking about her stay in New York.
  
• Charles and Diana are starting a business together.
  
• They are driving to Manhattan as we speak.
  

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Vraagzinnen: To be (am / are / is) + onderwerp + werkwoord + ing

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Ontkenningszinnen: Onderwerp + to be (am / are / is) + not + werkwoord + ing
