Listen to the song and look at the handout.

- Mark or underline all the verbs you can find.

Then,

- Look at exercise 26. 

Past simple: regular verbs

Past simple: irregular verbs

Some verbs are irregular, such as

"to be" (past tense: was/were)

"to build" (past tense: built)

"to think" (past tense: thought)

You don't add "-ed" to these verbs. Instead, you will have to study the past forms. For a list, look at page 215

Exercise

Finished? Do exercise 30 or study vocabulary F and H on page 74/75
