The present simple
We use the Present simple when talking about facts and habits.
If it is a regular verb we add an S at the end of the verb when the subject of the sentence is he/she/it.

Exceptions:
You add -es to verbs that end in -s, -x, -z, -ch or -sh when the subject of the sentence is he/she/it
You add -es the verbs go and do when the subject of the sentence is he/she/it.

Exceptions:
When the verb ends in Y you change the Y into -ies when the subject of the sentence is he/she/it.
If the subject of the sentence is he/she/it and the verb ends in Y, but has an -a, -e, -e, -u, or -i in front of the Y you add an S to the end of the verb.
