Your spinal column is a very important collection of bones in your body. Without one, you can't stand up straight. It consist of 30 vertebrae, with interverbral discs inbetween.

Interverbral discs
These interverbral discs consist of cartilage on the outside and a gelatinous core in the middle. These make movement inbetween the vertebrae possible and act as shock breakers.

You spinal column has a double S-shape. Which evenly spreads the weight of your body across your back. Keeping a double S-shape by having a good posture wears the spinal column as little as possible.

Good posture
It is always important to have a good posture, whenever you are sitting, standing, lying down or lifting. Keeping your back and your legs straight is very important.

When you have a wrong posture, a hunch can start to develop. This can be accelerated by using your phone in a wrong way. Keep in mind: keep your neck, back and legs in one continuous line.
