Zero conditional:

First conditional:
If you are late, you will miss the bus.

First Conditional
To express something that is likely to happen in the future (the result) if the condition happens or is true.
A possible future situation and its probable result.

If + present simple + will + verb

If you are late, you’ll miss the bus.

Let's play a game!
The challenge is to create a new sentence using the end of the previous one.

One student begins with a sentence, for example:'If I go out tomorrow, I’ll go to a beach.’ 
 The next person in the team must then use the end of the previous sentence: If I go to the beach, I’ll sunbathe… If I sunbathe, I’ll get burnt… If I get burnt, I’ll go to a pharmacy…
if + present simple  ....... will + verb
To express something that is likely to happen in the future (the result) if the condition happens or is true.

Game: What would you do?
What would you do if these things happened to you? Work in groups of 4/5. Role the dice and complete the sentence that corresponds to the number. For example, if you role a 2, you need to complete sentence 2 using the second conditional. 
(=unlikely/ imaginary situation in the present or future)
