Footnote
  1.  Placed with information you want to cite someone else's words/ideas.
  2. Appears on the bottom of the page = at the foot
  3. Begins with 1 and are numbered throughout your essay/article = don't worry: Word does this for you ;)
  4. Use it whenever you cite a book, article, data, online source...

You must add footnotes to your article to prove your article is based on more than just your own opinion.

Time to write 
Now that you know how to spot fake news, go to trustworthy websites and do research for your article. 

Read the assignment again  and write an factual article about your chosen topic.

Use reported speech at least 4x.
Use the Second Conditional at least 4x.
 Support your ideas/opinons with sources.
Structure
1. Title - must be catchy!
2. Body
Engage reader = address them
Use a range of vocab = don't repeat yourself
Refer to stats / data
Use linkers: add, contrast, result
3. Ending - summarise

On the 2nd page, you'll find 3 quotes/paraphrases --> create footnotes to go with them. You might have to use Google to find extra info ;)
