reflexive pronouns
When? when the subject and the pronoun are the
same person or thing.

we normally don't use a reflexive pronoun.
Example: After breakfast, he took a shower and

However, if you want to put emphasis on

doing it you can.

When? 2 or more persons/things are doing the same thing
for or towards the other.
