Your tone of voice (= how you sound) 

means a lot! 

Do you know how you sound? 

How can you find out? 

The best way is to record yourself. 

Be prepared: it may not sound like you expected ! 

But that gives you something to work on.

Acting out a different  tone of voice   can help you find out.

Questions are a great way to practise with your tone of voice. Especially when you ask them in a  friendly way.
