You have 10 minutes for the preparation, and 10 minutes to finish the exercises. Early finishers find a partner and do exercise 40 and 41 too. These are speaking exercises. 

Gerund & infinitive

Gerund (werkwoord + ing):

1. werkwoord als zelfstandig naamwoord
2. na werkwoorden die aangeven dat je iets (niet) leuk vindt
3. Na start / stop / continue / etc.
4. Na voorzetsels
5. Na uitdrukkingen
6. Na zintuiglijke werkwoorden

to- infinitive (to+hele ww) 

1. na would like / would love
2. na werkwoorden die een wens of gevoel uitdrukken
3. na werkwoorden die een bevel uitdrukken
4. Na specifieke werkwoorden (decide, choose, learn, etc)

Als je twijfelt: vaak (maar niet altijd) kun je van deze basisregel uitgaan.

I will ask you to explain the difference between gerunds and infinitives after try, stop, remember and forget after the video. 

WW	+ gerund (ing-vorm)	+ to - infinitive
Try	Suggestie, advies, kijken of iets werkt. You should try studying a bit harder to get better grades.	Iets moeilijks proberen te doen. I really tried to study but I was too distracted by all the noise.
Stop	Ophouden met iets wat je al doet. You really need to stop talking!	Ophouden met iets om iets anders te beginnen I'm sorry, I can't stop to talk, no time!
Forget	Iets vergeten dat wel al is gebeurd I completely forgot buying that book and now I have two!	Iets vergeten te doen wat moet of had moeten gebeuren. I forgot to buy a birthday present for my mum!
