• =Locals slowly become more Roman
• Germanic tribes copy a lot from the Romans.
• Germans could become Roman citizens after 25 of service in the army.

Pax Romana 27 AD

• With Augustus starts a period of peace for 200 years: PAX Romana= Roman Peace

• Contact with Etruscans, Greeks and Germanic Tribes.
• Roman stole a lot from these cultures -> mainly the Greeks.
