Used to show intention or goal. - Common Structures:
To + verb
→ She studies hard to pass the exam.
For (the purpose of) + gerund
→ He spoke slowly for the purpose of helping us understand.
So that + clause
→ I left early so that I wouldn’t be late.
in order to + inf.
-> I went to university in order to get a degree

Used to explain why something happens.
Common Structures:
Because + clause
→ He was tired because he worked late.
Since + clause
→ Since it was raining, we stayed inside.
As + clause
→ As she didn’t study, she failed the test.
