Will and Going to

When do we use "will"?

-spontaneous (something you decide at that moment)

- Predictions (without clues)

When do we use "going to"?

-Planned things (they have been decides already)

- Predictions (with clues)

Example 

It will rain.

She will fail her test.

I will get some water.

Example 

I am going to London.

 She is going to fail her test, because she didn't study.

He is going to travel to Spain.
