Checking the test

- count the amount of points you've received and check whether it's correct. 

- for most of the exercises you could receive 4 points for grammar, spelling etc. Per mistake I took off 0,5 points so If you received no points it means you made 8 or more mistakes.

Speaking: expressing your opinion

- To practice speaking English more on a personal level than the previous lesson. I want you to do this next activity in pairs so with the person sitting next to you. 

- I will show you a question on the screen. For each questions you get a couple minutes to discuss your opinions together. 

- Make sure you use different terms to express your opinion> see the example on the next slide 

- I will walk around to listen and give feedback.

presentation: how do you end one? 

- Before we start with the presentations next week. The last thing I want to cover is how you can end one appropriately.

- On the next slide there's a short video with an explanation. We're going to watch it and afterwards you get 15+- minutes time to work on your own presentation. 

Work on your presentation

- you can choose to work on writing a script for the end of your presentation.

- But you can also finish the start of your presentation if you haven't finished it yet. 

- You can also focus on your powerpoint instead.

- If you don't have a laptop, you can write your script in your notebook. 

- You have about 20 minutes. I want to see you work seriously. I'll walk around and help you. 

- After this we'll have some time to play blooket to practice the irregular verbs.
