Adverbs of place and time
  • verwijzingen naar plaats en tijd: zeggen dus iets over waar of wanneer
  • komen vrijwel altijd achteraan de zin
    That's our car in the driveway.
    I am going to meet my friend at the cinema tonight.
  • Plaats komt altijd vóór tijd (wie - doet - wat - WAAR - WANNEER)
    Your new scooter will be delivered to your house in five days.
  • Tijd zet je alleen vooraan als je de nadruk wilt leggen hierop

Adverbs of manner

  • Andere bijwoorden komen meestal aan het eind van de zin:
    You have to cycle carefully
