Surveys
Surveys are a great way to get information from a lot of people. In a survey, you ask the same questions to everyone.

Important:

  1. The questions should be short, easy to understand, and quick to answer.
  2. Don't ask questions that make people feel they have to answer in a certain way.
  3. Avoid asking confusing questions.

In addition to your interview(s), you will also create a survey to collect qualitative information.


  • Think carefully about your questions.
  • Ask classmates and teachers for feedback on your questions.
  • Ask them to check for clarity and quality.
  • Think about how you'll distribute your survey. Will you print it, email it, or post it online
  • Collect at least 6 responses to your survey.

You have the rest of the lesson to create your survey.

Step 1 - Create your questions
  • Create at least 15 survey questions.
  • Write them down in Word.
  • Also, make sure that if you have multiple answer options, you note them as well.

Step 2 - Feedback
  • Exchange your 15 questions with a classmate.
  • They will give feedback based on the points we discussed earlier.
  • Afterward, explain each other's feedback to each other.
