Reflexive pronouns
Reflexive pronouns worden gebruikt om te zeggen dat de persoon die de actie uitvoert, deze ook ondergaat.

Het onderwerp en het lijdend voorwerp zijn dezelfde persoon.
She made herself dinner.
I poured myself a drink.
We drove ourselves home.

Uitzonderingen
Reflexive pronouns gebruik je niet na werkwoorden als wash, dress en shave
tenzij je nadruk wilt leggen op wie het doet: 
She is old enough to dress herself
(nadruk op 'she').

Bij sommige werkwoorden die je meestal ZELF doet gebruik je GEEN wederkerend voornaamwoord.

Reciprocal pronouns
Reciprocal pronouns worden gebruikt om een wederzijdse relatie uit te drukken. Je vertaalt het met "elkaar". 

Het verwijst naar het onderwerp van de zin.
They are talking to each other.
We will always love one another.
Sarah and Marvin always help each other.

Reciprocal pronouns gebruik je niet na werkwoorden als meet, cuddle, embrace, hug, marry en kiss.
(Deze werkwoorden geven al aan dat de handeling van beide kanten komt.)

A Trip to an English Speaking Country

Situation
You are the organisers of a group holiday to an English speaking country of your own choice. You have organised everything, including means of transport, accommodation, visits, excursions, etc. You now have to present your trip to the rest of the group (travellers and parents).

Instructions
• The organising committee may consist of 4 or 5 people.
• Every member of the group presents one day of the trip.
• The total presentation should be around 10 minutes.
• Don’t forget to include:
o Sights & monuments
o History and/or background information
o Excursions & activities
o Means of transport

• Try to be original (there are more English speaking countries than the UK and the USA!)
• Make your presentation interesting!
