Adjectives
We use Adjectives to say something about a Noun. 
Examples:
  • This is an awesome product!
  • What I like best about my bike, is that it is green.
  • I wouldn't go see it, it was a terrible film.

If you can answer the question: What kind of ....? You are dealing with an Adjective.

Slide 3 - Slide

Adverbs
We use Adverbs to say something about Verbs, Adjectives and sometimes other Adverbs.
Examples:
  • We calmly waited for 10 minutes, but still they didn't help us.
  • Our new oven works wonderfully.
  • The car doesn't drive very quickly.

Is you can asnwer the question: How does it .... ? You are dealing with an Adverb.
