  • This usually happens because of injuries to your nervous system, especially your spinal cord, but it can also happen with various medical conditions and

How to Show Support in the Classroom
To show support in classroom, it can look different from student to student. Support can include;
  • Speak directly to the person, not to an accompanying support person
  • If you are not sure what to do, ask, “Can I help?”
  • Remove obstacles and arrange furniture to ensure clear passage 
  • Make sure the student can see the instructor, whiteboard and/or screen at all times.
