Eurovision 2021

Did you watch Eurovision? 

How did you feel about all the songs/contestants?

5.2 First Conditional

You can use the first conditional to predict future results of  actions. 

ACTION                                                FUTURE RESULT

If + present simple                                will/won't + verb

If he decides to take a gap year, he will travel abroad.

If the pandemic ends, Ms. Wildeman will go to NYC.

Election promises

Imagine that you are running for school president in the next Corderius elections.

Write a paragraph with at least 6 First Conditional sentences where you make promises to students and teachers.

Example: “If you vote for me, I will cut taxes on the cafeteria food.”

5.5 Relative Clauses

You can use relative clauses to provide additional information. 

Sarah works for a man who used to be an actor.

The robber wore a mask which made him look scary

Corderius College is a school where we will see our classmates again next week

The longest sentence

Person A starts a sentence. 

The rest of the class keeps on adding information to the start sentence.

Use Relative Clauses: WH + extra info
