What is Digestion?

1. The secretion of saliva, and mixing of food with the tongue.
2. The release of water, acids, enzymes, buffers, and. salts.
3. The fluid produced and secreted by salivary glands in the mouth
4. It is how our body gets nutrients and energy from the food we eat
