Speaking & Listening: Students practice presenting and discussing BBC News and talk about their books in Lit Circle reading groupsa and can do online listening practice in Woots.
Reading/Literary development: Students read a second book for their Reading File, do a book assignment and share reading experiences in reading groups. In this way they practice close reading, asking questions about their reading, summarizing, re-reading, predicting, making connections etc. for a deeper understanding of the novel.
Exam vocabulary & reading strategies: Students practice useful B2 vocabulary using Words in Progress (ELO) and Quizlet, StudyFlow etc..
