Diamante Poem

  • A diamante poem is a style of poetry that is made up of seven lines.
  • There is a pattern to the number of words per line: 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1.
  • This pattern helps form an overall diamond shape for the poem (hence, “diamante”)
  • Each line uses a specific word.
  • It doesn't rhyme.
  • It can be a synonym diamante or antonym diamante.
