Door iedere les op dezelfde manier te starten zorg ik voor voorspelbaarheid, wat volgens de theorie (Teitler, 2019, p. 166 & p. 170) voor rust zou moeten zorgen.

Theorie

- Structuur

 Iedere les bespreken we ná het 5 minuten stil lezen de opbouw van de les. Deze structuur is nodig voor de leerlingen omdat de meeste leerlingen moeite hebben met het plannen, bewaken, afstemmen, controleren en evalueren.

Door dagelijks de planning door te nemen én te visualiseren help in de leerlingen structuur aan te brengen in hun leerproces ( Geert & Kralingen, Van, 2018, p. 417)

Theorie

- De docent helpt de leerling het nut inzien van de lesstof/leerstof door de leerdoelen te communiceren met de leerlingen. Doordat er voor een leerling betekenis hangt aan het leren van de stof, kan hij beter leren en onthouden. (Geerts en Van Kralingen, 2018, pp. 109 en 112)

Theorie

- Samen met de leerlingen kijk ik terug op wat er is geleerd. Dit kan je doen aan de hand van verschillende vormen: huiswerk controle, exit tickets, mondelinge controle (Geerts en van Kralingen, 2018, pp. 110-111).

Theorie

- Aan de had van de timer en het stoplicht worden er duidelijke verwachtingen gecommuniceerd naar de leerlingen. In combinatie met goed klassenmanagement zou dit moeten leidden tot orde in het klaslokaal (Geert en van Kralingen, 2018, p. 142).

- Lesfase 6, zelfstandig oefenen.

 In deze fase van de les gaan de leerlingen zelfstandig met de opdrachten aan de slag die in het boek staan.

- Tijdens deze fase van de les loopt de docent rond om te kijken hoe het bij leerlingen gaat en om waar nodig vragen te stellen. (Geerts en Van Kralingen, 2018, p. 110).
