Main events:
The most important things that happen in a story.

If you erase these events, the story would be incomplete. 

If you put all main events together, you would have a summary of the book or story.

Side events.
Smaller storylines. Kind of important but not too much. If you would erase these events, the story would be a bit different, but would still make sense and most things would be the same.

Assignment when you're done:
You are going to make an orientation poster about the second world war. You are going to research topics like Hitler, political parties, camps and the nazis. You will make a poster with two sides. One with a mind-map and one with pictures and information. You will do a small presentation about your poster before the Christmas Break. Everyone will participate in this.
