Make exercise 2 (WB 62)
Use this information to make the exercise

Due to the rocky ground, the many islands and the high mountains there wasn’t a lot of fertile land close together making it difficult to grow enough food in one place to feed a whole city.

The solution was to find new fertile land and start a new city there (a colony). This colony would trade food with the mother city (the city where the colonists originally came from).
