WHAT IS RAISED BY KRUMP ABOUT?

Many Los Angeles youth found in the street dance krump a new way to express their feelings. For many of them, the dance was their salvation; without it, they would have slipped into the gang life of the violent Los Angeles ghettos. Like poetry battles, krump is a struggle between people. But the aim here is not to win against the other; it is not the opponent who is your worst enemy, but yourself. The dancers, who we see at work in dazzling images and follow in their daily lives, reflect on dance and its place in their lives.

Slide 9 - Slide

The young people and young adults in the film Raised by Krump use dance as an outlet for negative feelings, their anger, frustration and aggression.
Do you have such a means of expression? Describe it.
