I will, always, start classes with all of you present for instructions. After that, it depends on the kind of class we have that day.

Past simple
Past simple is de verleden tijd. Het is afgelopen, klaar, en niet meer bezig.
2 Vormen:
  1. Werkwoord + ed
  2. 2e Vorm onregelmatige werkwoorden (p.156)

Signaalwoorden: yesterday, last week/year/month/night, etc.

Present perfect
Voltooid tegenwoordige tijd. Het is in verleden gebeurd, maar je kunt het nu nog steeds merken of ervaren. 
2 Vormen:
Have/has + werkwoord + ed
Have/has + 3e vorm onregelmatige werkwoorden

Kijk altijd of er een signaalwoord in staat waardoor je de tijden kunt onderscheiden. Wil dat niet, stel voor jezelf de vraag: is het nou al afgelopen, of is het nog steeds bezig of te merken?
