Enkel bij he/she/it

1. Go -> Goes
2. Do -> Does
3. Eindigend met een -s geluid -> es
4. Eindigend met een medeklinker + y -> = ies ipv ys

Possessive 's -> Enkelvoud
Bij enkelvoud zetten we altijd 's achter het woord.
De 's  komt achter de eigenaar, ook als dit woord eindigt met een s (zoals James).

The monkey's tail is long.
James's rabbit is sweet.

Bij meervoud plakken we er enkel ' achter tenzij het woord niet met een -s eindigt.

The lions' teeth are sharp.
Those dogs' names are funny.
The children's parents.

Soms wordt of gebruikt om bezit aan te geven. Dit doen we bij dingen, plaatsen en landen.
