Yes/no questions
Yes/no questions zijn vragen die je met 'ja' of 'nee' kunt beantwoorden: 

Is he your brother? --> Yes, he is.
Can you help me study for the history test? --> No, I can't.

Are the neighbours home? --> ___ (bevestigend, EN affirmative/positive)
Am I next in line? --> ___ (ontkennend, EN negative)

Questions in the present simple
Er zijn een paar werkwoorden die je gewoon vooraan in de zin mag zetten bij het maken van vragen: 
- to be (am/is/are)
Hulpwerkwoorden:
- can                             (en nog hulpwerkwoorden zoals 'may' ,
- have / has got                                               should', en 'will'.

She is 13 years old. --> Is she 13 years old? 
He can speak English. --> Can he speak English?
You have got good grades so far. --> Have you got a good grades so far?

Questions in the present simple
Staan deze werkwoorden niet in een zin? Dan moet je een hulpwerkwoord erbij pakken!
--> do / does
Na elke vorm van do moet je het hele werkwoord gebruiken 

You love cats --> Do you love cats?

He loves cats --> Does he love cats?

In the next few slides, answer the yes/no questions and create questions in the present simple

Dus: kijk eerst of er een vorm van to be, can of have got in de zin staat. Dan kan je de vraag erg simpel maken. 
Staat deze er niet in? Gebruik dan een vorm van do/does!
