First impressions make you decide if you want to continue watching.

First impressions decide what you think of someone. It's hard to change first impressions.

Definition of self-image:

Self-image is how you see yourself and how you believe others see you

Introduce the definition of self-image and ask students if they have any questions about the term.

The "perfect" standard?

"Social media can make it look as though everyone else's life is perfect. Impossible standards can be set not just by celebrities and models but by classmates and friends curating and filtering their pictures. There is evidence that this can negatively impact self-esteem."
