Rule for questioning : Inversion of subject / verb ( change word order ) 
- You are excited ( affirmative form ) --> Are you excited ? 
                                                                             * Yes , I am / No I am not .

- We are friends ( affirmative form ) --> are we friends ? 
                                                                           * Yes , we are / No, we aren't.
                                                                          --> We are not friends .
