Slide 1 - Mind map

What do we mean by belonging?
Belonging can include feelings of understanding, respect, connectedness, membership, or mattering. Sense of belonging is influenced by the classroom and school culture as well as by individual actions taken by adults in the school.

Key focus for this term (and next year)
Google classroom as our tool to

  • Engage pupils with learning outside of the classroom
  • Engage parents with a stronger sense of what their children are learning

You said... We did...
Homework tracking is moving away from Bromcom!!

As of September we will be using Google Classroom as our tool for setting and tracking homework.

Parents will be signed up as guardians

Individualising classes
Teachers will be individually responsible for their classes

We want teachers to treat their Google classroom as a digital extension of their real classrooms, as individual and personal as your physical classrooms are!

Slide 9 - Slide

Centralised classrooms
We will create centralised classrooms for teachers to collaboratively produce assignments and resources to share to their groups.

This means that you will only need to adapt as needed, not write from scratch
