Students can analyze three books that they would like to read.

Students can decide which book they are going to read alone, in pairs, or small groups.

2. How to make a good choice in 5 steps:

STEP 1:

• Is the cover appealing?
• What does it say about the book?
• What do you like/dislike

Step 2 

First pages 

• Read some of the first pages.
• Can you roughly understand what you are reading? 
• Do you like what you read or not?

Step 3

Pages in the middle

• Read a page in the middle of the book. 
• Can you roughly understand what you are reading? 
• Do you like what you read or not?

Step 4

Many books have been made into films.

• If so: find the trailer and have a look. 
• Is it interesting to you?

Step 5

Conclusion

• Do you think you would like to read the whole book?
