SOME en ANY betekenen beide:

  • enkele
  • wat 
  • een paar
  • geen (in combinatie met NOT)
                                                                           Ik koop elke dag wat snoep in de kantine.
                                                                     Every day I buy some sweets in the canteen.
                                                           Mijn broer mag geen noten eten, hij is allergisch.
                                                                        My brother can't eat any nuts, he's allergic.

SOME / ANY
Some en any hebben dus dezelfde betekenis, 
maar worden in verschillende soorten zinnen gebruikt. 

Some gebruik je in bevestigende zinnen, deze eindigen altijd met een punt of een uitroepteken en er staat geen 'not' in.

Any gebruik je in zinnen met een vraagteken 
en zinnen met het woord 'not' er in.
