Weather and Travel - Where Should I Go?
Read the descriptions of the three strange countries below. Each country has a very unique climate and lifestyle. Choose one country where you would like to travel and explain why.

1️⃣ Blizzarkia
"Welcome to Blizzarkia, the land of eternal winter! The temperature never rises above -10°C, and it snows 300 days a year. The capital city is famous for its ice hotels and frozen waterfalls. The locals wear thermal suits and ride on polar bears instead of cars. If you love skiing and hot chocolate, this is the place for you!"

2️⃣ Sunburnia
"Sunburnia is the hottest country in the world! The sun shines 24/7, and there hasn’t been rain in over 50 years. The average temperature is 50°C, so people wear cooling suits and drink 10 liters of water a day. The national sport is ‘shade hunting,’ and all houses are built underground to escape the heat. Do you love the sun? Then come to Sunburnia!"

3️⃣ Foglandia
"Foglandia is the most mysterious country on Earth. It is always foggy, and no one has ever seen the sun here. The temperature stays at a cool 15°C all year round. The people of Foglandia use special ‘fog lamps’ to see where they are going, and their national dish is ‘mystery soup’ because no one ever knows what’s in it. If you love spooky weather and surprises, this is your perfect destination!"

Global Warming and Climate Change
🌍 What is Global Warming?
Global warming means the Earth is getting hotter. The temperature is rising because of too much pollution in the air. Cars, factories, and cutting down trees all make the problem worse.

🌦 What is Climate Change?
Climate change means the weather is changing in many places. Some places get more rain, some have strong storms, and some become too dry.

🔥 What Causes Global Warming?
Factories and cars make smoke that goes into the air.
People cut down trees (deforestation), and there are fewer trees to clean the air.
Too much energy use (electricity, heating) adds to the problem.

Slide 18 - Slide

Global Warming and Climate Change
🌊 What Happens Because of Climate Change?
Ice is melting in the Arctic and Antarctic.
The sea level is rising, and some places may flood.
There are more wildfires and strong storms.
Animals lose their homes because their environment changes.

💡 How Can We Help?
Use less plastic and recycle.
Take the bus or ride a bike instead of using a car.
Save electricity by turning off lights when not needed.
Plant trees to help clean the air.

🌱 Every little action helps! If people work together, we can protect the planet for the future. 😊
