How do you make a question?
Am/is/are/can are placed at the beginning of a sentence.
He is happy --> Is he happy?

If you have another verb, you put do or does at the beginning of a sentence.
He studies a lot --> Does he study a lot?

You put has/have at the beginning of the sentence and the subject comes after.

Sentences with other verbs you put don't or doesn't before the verb.
