When your hair goes down to or past your shoulders, you need to wear it tied back into a ponytail or a knot! If your hair is braided you also make sure it's tide back.

No slippers, sandals, crocs or other open toed shoes.

Skirts and pants
No short skirts or pants.
When wearing a skirt that doesn't completely cover your legs, you need to wear leggings or other covering underneath.
Why?
Chemicals can fall, better to have a layer between the spillage and your skin.

Provided safety
Lab coats: wear one that fits and can be closed. When sleeves are to long roll them up till your wrists.
Safety goggles (when you don't wear glasses): When working with fire and chemicals these need to be worn. Only when the teacher says so, or when you have your back turned to the table you can remove them.

Behavior
Working in the lab can be dangerous.
Calm: No running around, playing and being funny.
Obedient: You listen to the teachers and won't go in discussion.
Smart: You think before you do something, when unsure you ask a teacher first.

When entering the lab
You place your assignment and writing utensils on the workbench.
Collect and put on your safety goggles and lab coat, and tie your hair in a ponytail or knot.
Stand by your table and wait further instructions from the teachers.

Consequences
When you don't have a hair tie, the TOA has one for you. BUT you will get a "Materiaal vergeten" in Magister.
When wearing open shoes, your feet will be wrapped in trash bags. You will also get a "Materiaal vergeten" in Magister.
When not behaving and/ or listening, you will be send to B201 and need to write penalty rules before the next lesson.
