Modals (hulpwerkwoorden)
  • Must = moeten > als je zelf vindt dat iets moet
        - You mus buy that game, it is amazing. 
  • Have to = moeten > verplichting van buitenaf 
        - You have to get a VISA to get into the USA 
  • Should = zou (eigenlijk) moeten > advies, maar geen verplichting
        - Jack should study for his test. 
  • Can = of jij/iemand iets kan
       - Can you speak English?
  • Could = Beleefde vragen
       - Could you help me please.
