Word order

Word order

• We went to the movies, yesterday

• We grew up in The Netherlands in the 21st century..
• They went tot France in 2019.

Word order

• Where do you put the place in a sentence? and time?
• We met up at 6 o'clock at the train station. Is this sentence correct?
• Place before time!
• We met up at the train station at 6 o'clock.

Used to + verb

• When do you use it?
• When something always used to happen in the past.
• Wolfs did not used to live in the Netherlands, but now they do.
• We used to live in Ireland, but then we moved. 

Used to

• Always the full verb;
• Used to + play -> We used to play football every day, but I recently quit.
• Something always happened in the past, but not anymore.
