Today's program:

- Reading a part of chapter 1 from the book 'The Lady in White'.
- exercises 1 t/m 4 theme 3.
- reflect on the learning goals.

The lady in white

Dit boek is ingescand en staat op magister bronnen > mavo 3 Engels > the lady in white. 

Dit boek gaan we de komende periode met elkaar lezen.
We gaan beginnen met chapter 1.

Taking notes

When you read an English book, try to take some notes after reading a few pages or a full chapter. 
We are going to do this together in class. 
Make sure you write down your notes on your Ipad.

Learning goals

- I can describe a crime. 
- I know words to do with crime & law.

Exercise 1

- TB page 36 > a witness report
- read the text together.
- answer the teacher's questoins.

Describe the suspect with two English sentences.

Exercise 2

- Do exercise 2 individually.
- Listen to the audiorecording on the website of Stepping Stones.
- We are going to discuss the answers after 5 minutes.

Exercise 3 and 4

- Use the theme words from vocabulary B for exercise 3 and 4. 

- Exercise 3: complete the sentences by filling in the right theme words. You can translate the words to Dutch if you need to.

Exercises 3 and 4

- Exercise 4:
Use vocabulary B and fill in the gaps by using the vocabulary B. 

Tip: translate a part of the sentence if you don't know the correct answer.
