Negative Questions
- Vorm je op dezelfde manier:

            - I wasn't happy.                   > Wasn't I happy?
            - She can't sing.                   > Can't she sing?

            - I don't like rain.                  > Don't I like rain?

Grammar 2: Negations
- Negations = ontkenningen (dus iets wat niet zo is)
- Vorm je door not of n't toe te voegen:
               I haven't eaten yet              I wasn't hungry
He shouldn't do that         I will not call you

- Dit gebeurt bij alle vormen van to be (am/is/are/was/were),
   to have (has/have/had), en hulpwerkwoorden (can/could/may/ might/must/ought to/will/should)

Slide 36 - Slide

Geen to be / to have / hulpwerkwoord?
- Dan krijg je een vorm van to do (don't/doesn't/didn't) voor het
werkwoord dat al in de zin staat:
                  - I eat breakfast                 > I don't eat breakfast
                  - He cycles to school      > He doesn't cycle to school
                  - We walked to class       > We didn't walk to class
- Let op: na een vorm van to do, komt altijd het hele werkwoord!
Dus een -s of -ed valt altijd weg.

Slide 37 - Slide

Grammar 3: Questions
- Bij vraagzinnen werk je ook met de vorm van to be / to have /
het hulpwerkwoord dat al in de zin staat.
- Deze haal je naar voren:
         - She was cycling to school.     > Was she cycling to school?
         - I have (got) a new bike.             > Have you (got) a new bike?
         - He will call you tonight.            > Will he call you tonight?

Slide 38 - Slide

Geen to be / to have / hulpwerkwoord?
- Ook dan gebruik je weer een vorm van to do (do/does/did):
           - I play piano every day.            > Do I play piano every day?
           - She goes to school at 8.        > Does she go to school at 8?
           - He walked home.                      > Did he walk home?

- Let op: ook hier krijg je na de vorm van to do weer het hele
werkwoord. Dus een -s of -ed valt weg.

Slide 39 - Slide

Negative Questions
- Vorm je op dezelfde manier:
            - He isn't very nice.             > Isn't he very nice?
            - I wasn't happy.                   > Wasn't I happy?
            - She can't sing.                   > Can't she sing?

            - I don't like rain.                  > Don't I like rain?
            - He doesn't play guitar.   > Doesn't he play guitar?
