Different futures
Als je wil vertellen dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren, kan je dat op verschillende manieren zeggen.
- present simple
- to be going to 
- will

Wat is het verschil?
Iets staat gepland volgens schema. 
Example: The shop opens at 08:00 am.
Example 2: The trains arrives at 10:00 am.
                                      Present simple.

Als iets volgens een vast schema of rooster gebeurd, dan gebruik je de present simple.

Wat is het verschil?
Iets is gepland en gaat zeker gebeuren: 'to be going to'.
Example: I am going to visit my grandmother this Friday.
Example 2: We are going to work on Saturday.
                                         to be + going to + infinitive

Als iets zeker gaat gebeuren, dan gebruik je:
                   werkvorm van "to be" + "going to" + hele werkwoord

Wat is het verschil?
Iets is nog niet gepland en gaat nog niet zeker weten door: 'will'.
Example: I will visit my grandmother.
Example 2: We will be busy this Saturday.
                                         will + infinitive

Als je iets van plan bent, maar het is nog niet zeker dan gebruik je:                          "will" + hele werkwoord

- Bij belofte, aanbod, aankondiging, spontaan besluit
-Onzeker, kan nog veranderen


To be + going to + werkwoord

I am
going to work this summer

- Bij plannen in de toekomst
-Zeker, je weet dat het gaat gebeuren
